Tensile is built by one person. Email gets to that person directly, and you can expect a reply within two working days.
Delete your account and your data
In the app: Profile, then Delete account. It removes your account and the health data stored with it, on the server and on your phone. There is one confirmation step that names exactly what goes.
If you have already deleted the app, or you cannot sign in, email the address above from the address you signed up with and we will delete it for you. You do not need to give a reason.
You forgot your password
Open Tensile, tap Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen, and we will email you a link. Links work once and expire after an hour, so if you open one twice the second attempt will tell you it has already been used. Ask for another.
Apple Health is showing nothing
Almost always this is read permission. Open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, find Tensile and turn on the categories you want it to read. iOS asks per category, and it is easy to grant some and miss others.
If permissions look right and screens are still empty, email us and say which screen. Do not send screenshots containing health values you would rather not share; a description is enough to start.
What Tensile does with your data
Your health data is synced to a server so the coach can read it. That is how the product works, and we would rather say so plainly than claim otherwise. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and deleting your account deletes it. The privacy policy has the specifics, including what is stored where and your rights under GDPR and CCPA.
Tensile is not a medical device
It is a fitness and wellbeing tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and nothing it tells you is medical advice. If something about your health worries you, speak to a clinician rather than an app.
